Gabby was rescued by American Animal Rescue Society from a high kill facility where her fate would have been euthanasia.
When she first arrived, she was unsure and scared. AARS took her to our vet to get checked out and vetted. Then she went to live with her foster family in a loving home where she came around in no time! She's a sweet, loving girl who likes snuggling and playing with other dogs.
After a couple of days, her foster mom noticed that Gabby had a persistent cough. She went back to the vet and got put on antibiotics. When those didn't work, the doctor changed her prescription to a different one. Finally with no improvement we had x-rays taken of her lungs which revealed a mass.
She needs this mass removed which is where she needs you to help by donating ANY amount! This surgery is critical and needs to happen soon! The doctor said that if we can get this mass removed her chances of survival are 100%!!! She's finally in a loving foster home where she's enjoying life, let's come together and raise the funds needed to get her the surgery she needs! You can donate RIGHT HERE on the AARS website via paypal or you can eith mail in a payment or donate to the vet as well (details below).
Please spread the word about her and if everyone donates a single dollar, soon enough we can raise enough funds to provide her with the life saving surgery she needs. As always all your donations are tax deductible since AARS is a 501c3 not-for-profit charitable organization.
If you'd rather mail in a donation instead, you can do so by mailing it to:
AARS PO Box 3511 Oak Brook, IL 60522-3511
Or you can donate directly to the vet:
Naperville Animal Hospital 1023 E. Ogden Ave Naperville, IL 60563 630-355-5300
In order for your donation to be credited correctly you must tell them you are donating to AARS client ID# 58111!!! We do not get specifics from the vet as to whom donated so please contact us & let us know that you have donated.
Spread the word about Gabby & urge everyone to donate!
